Pengarah Dedah Durasi Filem 'Pacific Rim 2'

Filem sambungan kepada Pacific Rim iaitu Pacific Rim 2 kini telah didedahkan berapa lama durasinya. Filem Pacific Rim 2 ini berdurasikan sepanjang dua jam. Perkara ini didedahkan oleh pengarah filem tersebut sendiri, Steven D Knight. 

“It’s resting right around two hours. I always shoot for two hours. If I was doing Lawrence of Arabia it would be a little longer, but otherwise I think the two-hour mark—this is just for me as somebody that loves movies and watches movies, two hours is always right around the sweet spot. If it’s much less than two hours then I start to get a little suspicious, if it’s much more longer sometimes a movie will support that but sometimes you just get a little worn out.”

Isu durasi sesebuah filem kini menjadi isu yang sering didebatkan. Sebelum ini,  filem seperti Justice League yang dikatakan pendek tempoh durasinya. Bagaimanapun filem Pacific Rim sudah tentu mempunyai sebab tersendiri untuk berdurasikan dua jam sahaja.

Secara peribadinya, tempoh dua jam adalah cukup sesuai untuk aksi dan tidak akan terlalu menjemukan buat penonton. Pacific Rim 2 akan ditayangkan di pawagam Malaysia 22 Mac 2018.
