Penulis Lakon Layar 'Avengers: Endgame' Perjelas Kenapa Watak [SPOILER] Harus Mati

Avengers: Endgame kini sedang ditayangkan di pawagam dan para penonton yang sudah menontonnya merasakan pelbagai emosi. Avengers: Endgame mempunyai beberapa kematian watak yang sukar dijangka. Antaranya ialah kematian watak Black Widow yang juga dikenali sebagai Natasha Romanoff lakonan Scarlett Johansson.

Tampil kepada New York Times, penulis lakon layar filem ini, Stephen McFeely menjelaskan sebab kenapa watak itu dimatikan di dalam filem ini.

She comes from such an abusive, terrible, mind-control background, so when she gets to Vormir and she has a chance to get the family back, that's a thing she would trade for.

Kebanyakan penonton meluahkan rasa penonton terhadap tindakan itu atas pelbagai sebab. Namun, penulis lakon layar filem itu menjelaskan bahawa kematian Black Widow mempunyai sebab yang kuat.

The toughest thing for us was we were always worried that people weren't going to have time to be sad enough," McFeely added. "The stakes are still out there and they haven't solved the problem. But we lost a big character -- a female character -- how do we honor it? We have this male lens and it's a lot of guys being sad that a woman died.

Malah, ada juga penonton yang tidak puas hati kerana Black Widow tidak mendapat babak pengebumian seperti yang diterima oleh watak Iron Man. 

That's partly because Tony’s this massive public figure and she's been a cipher the whole time. It wasn't necessarily honest to the character to give her a funeral
